Vision Statement:  Each Park Officer of the Wood County Park District is dedicated to providing the highest quality service to all members of the community, incorporating fairness and courtesy while preserving the dignity of each citizen in our endeavors.

Park District Police Officers

Wood County Park District officers are Ohio Peace Officer certified law enforcement officers who exercise full police powers in the commission of their duties. Park officers have the same certification and training as other police officers throughout Wood County.

Rangers patrol seven days a week and log over 9,000 patrol hours per year, using marked patrol vehicles, ATVs, bicycles and on foot.
