Located in a beautiful nature preserve, the facility has a more modern aesthetic with tall stacks of windows, a fireplace, and exposed wooden rafters. There is a serving kitchen with refrigerator, two-bin sink, microwave, and pass-through window. There is not an oven or stove.

Thompson Stone Hall

Otsego Park overlooks the Maumee River. The facility has a rustic aesthetic with stone walls, two fireplaces, and exposed wooden beam rafters. There is a full-sized kitchen with refrigerator, two ovens, stovetop, two-bin sink, microwave, and pass-through window.

There are 24 rectangular tables measuring 72′ x 30″ (6′ x 2.5 feet) and 120 chairs.

• William Henry Harrison Park

Enclosed shelters: Riverview and the Meadowview can be reserved for a $40 fee.

The open-air shelter cannot be rented. It is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Bradner Nature Preserve

Covered/open-air shelter. Can be reserved for a $40 fee. Has electric, but no heat or air-conditioning.

What to know when renting:

Reservations must be made by the 20th of the month prior. Please reserve early. In order to maintain our facilities and staff schedules, we do not accept same month rentals, or time changes. Rentals for the upcoming month (and rental time changes) close on the 20th of the month prior (for example, rentals for May close on April 20). This is so we can schedule our staff accordingly.

Reservations can be made up to one year in advance. Reservations are accepted one year-to-the-day in advance. Payment is required with a reservation. Damage deposits are refunded in the form of a check from Wood County about three weeks post event. Wood County Park District prides itself on maintaining clean parks and facilities. We do not provide keys, therefore you will need to establish arrival and departure times for your rental.

Choose your arrival and departure times carefully. A Park Police Officer will meet you to open the facility and return to secure the facility at the times designated.  Please allow for your setup of tables and chairs, deliveries, decorating, as well as clean up and take-down of your event.  The Park District does not provide caterers, linens, table service, set up, or cleaning equipment.

Alcohol permits must be purchased online, or at Park District Headquarters. Alcohol permits can only be purchased for the Thompson Stone Hall at Otsego Park and the Hankison Great Room at the W.W. Knight Nature Preserve. Alcohol permits must be made at least 45 days in advance. The alcohol permit fee is $75.00 and the refundable damage deposit is $150 for a total of $225.

Please note:  When renting one of our facilities, other events or meetings may also be  occurring in the building and/or on the grounds during the same time period. There are portions of the buildings that will remain open to the public.
