Baldwin Woods Preserve
14080 Range Line Road, Weston, OH 43569
Access on Euler Road west of Potter Road and east of Range Line Road.
The preserve is free and open to all daily from 8:00 am until 30 minutes past sunset.
Check dates before visiting. Please do not visit during hunting season. This Nature Preserve does not have trails. Seasonal hunting is permitted with a permit. See hunting details here.
History
Purchased from Brown University in 1993, the 124-acre preserve is a mix of woodlands, grasslands and wetlands. No established trails exist allowing visitors the opportunity to explore this jewel in a more natural state. Baldwin Woods is one of two areas available for hunting through a “Hunting with Permission Program” overseen by the Park Police Department.
Baldwin Woods Preserve is closed to the public during hunting days.
HUNTING DAYS are as follows:
- September 1 through October 31 – Wednesday, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays ONLY (No hunting on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday).
- November, December, January, February – Monday through Saturday ONLY (No hunting on Sundays).
- Our hunting season ends at the end of February to follow the State’s hunting season.
